Gas supply will remain suspended for nine hours in different areas of Dhaka city on Tuesday ( February 18). According to Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC, the areas where gas supply will remain off from 1 pm to 10 pm include Kholamora, Atibazar, Kakatia, Hazratour, and Majherchar due to the repair of leakage at Salehpur in the distribution pipeline from Amin Bazar DRS to Hazaribagh DRS. Titas apologized for the temporary inconvenience and stated that consumers in the surrounding areas might experience low gas pressure.

লিকেজ মেরামতের কারণে মঙ্গলবার ঢাকা শহরের বিভিন্ন এলাকায় ৯ ঘণ্টা গ্যাস সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকবে বলে জানিয়েছে তিতাস গ্যাস। তিতাস গ্যাস ট্রান্সমিশন অ্যান্ড ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন পিএলসির তথ্যানুযায়ী, আমিনবাজার ডিআরএস থেকে হাজারীবাগ ডিআরএস পর্যন্ত গ্যাস বিতরণ পাইপলাইনের সলেহপুর অংশে লিকেজ মেরামতের কারণে মঙ্গলবার&nbsp;(১৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি) দুপুর ১টা থেকে রাত ১০টা পর্যন্ত খোলামোড়া, আটিবাজার, কাকটিয়া, হযরতপুর এবং মাঝেরচর এলাকায় গ্যাস সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকবে। এর আশপাশের এলাকাগুলোর গ্রাহকরা গ্যাসের নিম্নচাপ অনুভব করতে পারেন। এ জন্য সাময়িক অসুবিধার জন্য দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছে তিতাস গ্যাস কর্তৃপক্ষ।
