Gas supply will be temporarily stopped in some areas of Dhaka on Thursday (October 24) for emergency repair work of the gas pipeline. For this reason, Titas sincerely apologizes for the temporary inconvenience to customers. Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited announced this in a press release on Wednesday (October 23). According to Titas, gas supply will be stopped in some areas of Dhaka for eight hours from 10am to 6pm on Thursday for the emergency replacement work of the gas pipeline. The areas are Farmgate, Nakhalpara, Shaheen Bagh, Bhawalbagh and Tejturi Bazar. At the same time, a low pressure of gas may prevail in the surrounding areas, Titas said.

গ্যাস পাইপলাইনের জরুরি মেরামত কাজের জন্য ঢাকার কয়েকটি এলাকায় বৃহস্পতিবার (২৪ অক্টোবর) গ্যাস সরবরাহ সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ থাকবে। এজন্য গ্রাহকদের সাময়িক অসুবিধার জন্য বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে আন্তরিকভাবে দুঃখপ্রকাশ করেছে তিতাস। বুধবার (২৩ অক্টোবর) এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে তিতাস গ্যাস ট্রান্সমিশন অ্যান্ড ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন কোম্পানি লিমিটেড। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, গ্যাস পাইপলাইনের জরুরি প্রতিস্থাপন কাজের জন্য বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল ১০টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬টা পর্যন্ত আট ঘণ্টা ঢাকার কয়েকটি এলাকায় গ্যাস সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকবে। তিতাস জানিয়েছে, এলাকাগুলো হলো- ফার্মগেট, নাখালপাড়া, শাহীনবাগ, ভওয়ালবাগ, তেজতুরী বাজার। এ ছাড়াও একই সময়ে আশপাশের এলাকায় গ্যাসের স্বল্পচাপ বিরাজ করতে পারে।
