Gas supply to remain off for 10 hrs in parts of capital Thursday

Gas supply will be halted for 10 hours from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm in various areas of the capital on Thursday for the relocation and reinstallation of gas pipelines as part of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Route Alignment project.

According to Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, the areas where gas supply will remain off for all kinds of customers include Moghbazar, Nayatola, Madhubagh, Tejgaon, Hatirjheel, Mirerbagh, Gabtola, Greenway, Peyarabag, and Eskaton (Dilu road).

Titas Gas expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to its consumers due to the emergency shutdown of gas supply, mentioning that the adjoining areas may experience low pressure during the period.
