Govt committed to provide treatment, rehabilitation of July revolution injured: Touhid

Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain stated that the interim government is fully committed to providing medical care and rehabilitation for those injured during the July Revolution.

The Adviser came up with the remarks after visiting the injured people at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) at the capital's Agargaon today.

He said, "The government is very serious about ensuring proper treatment for the injured. I want to reassure everyone that the support will continue as long as required,"

"The government would ensure job placements for those affected based on their qualifications as part of their rehabilitation process. We have also decided that if our doctors determine that treatment is not possible here, we will arrange for them to receive treatment overseas," he added.
