Hatirpool multi-storey building fire brought under control

The fire that broke out in a six-storey building near the kitchen market of Hatirpool in the capital, was brought under control.

The fire was brought under control around 8:35pm on Thursday. However, no casualty has been reported yet, according to the police.

Confirming the matter, Shahbag Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mustafizur Rahman said, "The incident took place under New Market Police Station. However, we are also looking into the matter. The fire was brought under control till the last news. But there is still smoke inside."
