Following the lifting of the curfew, there has been a surge in the number of commuters heading to government and private offices, which reopened today (Wednesday). This has resulted in significant traffic congestion across Dhaka's main roads since early morning. However, the absence of adequate public transportation has posed difficulties for commuters heading to work.

Since the morning of Wednesday (July 24), Dhaka has experienced severe traffic congestion on numerous roads, including Uttara, Farmgate, Mirpur, Sayedabad, Motijheel, Kallyanpur, Banani, Tejgaon, and Mohakhali. The city's roads are virtually at a standstill due to these traffic jams.

There was heavy traffic on Badda Road stretching from Mohakhali to Gulshan-1 and similarly on the route from Rampura to Notunbazar. The absence of public transport compounded the situation, leaving commuters anxious about their arrival times.

Around 9:30 in the morning, there was heavy traffic congestion at Mohammadpur bus stand area, extending to nearby alleys. Commuters heading to work faced difficulties due to the scarcity of public transport. Additionally, there were traffic jams observed under the Hanif flyover in Sayedabad.
