Hematology Society of Bangladesh EC debut ceremony held

The inauguration ceremony and scientific session of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Hematology Society of Bangladesh for the term 2025-2027 has been held.

It was held grandly at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed International Convention Center in Shahbagh, the capital, on Friday (April 18).

Bangladesh Medical University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shahinul Alam graced the event as the chief guest. The special guest was Additional Director General (Administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services Dr. Md. Rizwanur Rahman.

Professor Dr. Amin Lutful Kabir has taken charge as the President of the newly elected Executive Committee for the term 2025-2027 and Dr. Md. Adnan Hasan Masud will serve as the General Secretary.

Renowned physicians, researchers and relevant experts in the field of hematology from different parts of the country participated in the program. The newly elected committee leaders took charge and pledged to play a more effective and dynamic role in hematology treatment, research and public awareness in the future.

The scientific session organized as part of the program included important discussions on recent advances in hematology, modern methods of diagnosis and treatment.

The Hematology Society of Bangladesh has been working for a long time to improve research and treatment related to blood diseases in the country. The organization said that today's program is part of that continuity.
