HSC form fill-up begins

The process of form fill-up for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations-2024 began on Tuesday (April 16) and will continue till April 25.

A press release was issued by Secondary and Higher Education Division (SHED) in this regard on Tuesday.

According to the notice, this form can be filled from April 29 to May 2 with a late fee of Tk 100. As per the previous announcement, the HSC exam will be held in the revised (abbreviated) syllabus this time.

This year, Tk2,680 has been levied for filling the form for each student of science branch including board fee, center and practical fee while Tk2,120 per student of humanities and business education.

However, candidates of these two branches have to pay an additional fee of Tk140 per subject if there is a practical test in the fourth subject and optional subject.

According to a separate notification, no additional fee can be collected from any candidate in the name of test examination based on this examination. Again, admit card cannot be denied on the grounds of test examination. Failure to comply with these instructions will result in legal action being taken against the head of the institution and the institution.
