Humayun spotlights Bangladesh's emergence as sustainable growth hotspot
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun highlighted on Tuesday that Bangladesh is establishing itself as a hub of growth by prioritizing sustainable practices.
"Bangladesh, geographically and strategically an important country in the
Asia-Pacific region, is emerging as a growth hotspot through sustainable
practices. Due to the expansion of the country's economy, global companies
are showing interest in investing here," he said.
The minister came up with these remarks while addressing a "Key and Special Address Session" at a two-day "Fourth Bangladesh International Trade Summit-2024" at a hotel in the capital, said a press release.
Knowledge Sharing Company 'BigMint' organised the event.
Humayun said the two-day international trade summit will bring together key
stakeholders of the steel, cement and power sectors, including industry
leaders, policymakers, traders and investors.
"Moreover, it will create a platform to open up new horizons of cooperation
in these sectors," he concluded.
