India will pursue Kashmir attackers to 'the ends of the earth: Modi
Indian Prime Minster Narendra Modi has said India will pursue the Pahalgam attackers "to the ends of the Earth".
He said this while addressing a rally in Bihar state on Thursday.
He said that they have made a mistake by hurting the soul of India. "I want to make it clear that those who planned and participated in these attacks will be given punishment that they cannot even imagine."
Modi began his speech by observing a two-minute silence in memory of those killed in Pahalgam at the beginning of the meeting.
Last Tuesday, 26 people were killed in a gun attack in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir. Due to this, India took five steps against Pakistan, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty on Wednesday.
In response, Pakistan took a series of counter-measures on Thursday. Even after two days, Indian President Narendra Modi has not responded.
Today, he issued a strong warning against Pakistan at a public meeting in Bihar.
Narendra Modi said that those who selectively killed tourists should be punished severely.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs has announced that all visas issued by India have been cancelled. In addition, Pakistanis who are staying in India have been ordered to leave the country.
At a public meeting in the Indian state of Bihar, he raised his hands and prayed in memory of those killed in Kashmir. Thousands of people present there joined him in the prayer.
Meanwhile, Narendra Modi has called for an all-India meeting on Thursday in the wake of the attack. He will give details later.
Protests have taken place in front of the Pakistani embassy in New Delhi. Relations between the two countries have reached a low point. It is feared that the two countries could go to military war at any time.
