Internet service may be disrupted Thursday for an hour

The country’s internet users may experience one hour disruption due to the maintenance work of the country’s second submarine cable (SEA-ME-WE 5) in Kuakata, says a press release.

According to the Bangladesh Submarine Cables press release, the internet service will remain closed or may be disrupted for one hour from 3:00am to 4:00am on April 18.

However, the circuits of the country’s first submarine cable (SEA-ME-WE 4) will remain functional as usual, it added.
