IOM Director General to arrive in Dhaka on Sunday
United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) Director General Amy Pope is coming to Dhaka on Sunday (May 5). Immigration and Rohingya issues are said to be prominent in Amy's visit.
In this regard, a diplomat from Dhaka said, apart from immigration, the Rohingya issue will also be their focus.
During her stay in Bangladesh, the IOM DG will visit Cox's Bazar. She is supposed to bring some donors with him.
According to sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IOM Director General Amy Pope will visit Bangladesh from May 5-9. She will begin his tour by visiting the Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar.
