Islami Bank’s annual business dev conference concludes

The two-day Business Development Conference of Islami Bank Bangladesh has concluded at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Sunday (January 19).

Obayed Ullah Al Masud, chairman of the bank, was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director of the bank, presided over the programme while Executive Committee Chairman Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, Risk Management Committee Chairman Professor Dr M Masud Rahman, Audit Committee Chairman Md Abdus Salam, Independent Director Md Abdul Jalil, and Shariah Supervisory Committee Chairman Mufti Sayeed Ahmad addressed the conference as special guests.

Additional Managing Director Md Omar Faruk Khan delivered the welcome speech and Shariah Supervisory Committee Member Secretary Professor Dr Mohammad Abdus Samad conducted doa-munazat.

Additional Managing Directors Md Altaf Hossain and Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Deputy Managing Directors Md Mahboob Alam, Mahmudur Rahman, Md Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, KM Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, Dr M Kamaluddin Jasim and Md Maksudur Rahman along with heads of wings and divisions of the head office, heads of 16 zones and managers of 400 branches participated in the conference.
