Islami Bank’s clients win refrigerators for sending remittances

Ishrat Jahan, a client of Agent Outlet under Muladi Branch, Barishal, Md Anarul Islam, a client of Debigonj Branch, Panchagar and Julhas Uddin, a client of Barolekha Branch, Moulvi Bazar won refrigerators in the 2nd week’s draw of Islami Bank-Western Union month-long Eid remittance campaign. They won the prize through digital draw in presence of Md. Altaf Hossain, managing director (current charge) of the bank, on 18 May 2025, Sunday at Islami Bank Tower for remittances from Italy, Singapore & France. Md. Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director and Md. Atiqur Rahman Khan Khadem, head of Financial Institutions Division, other executives and officials of the bank along with senior officials of Western Union were present. A total of 12 refrigerators will be given away through a digital draw, 3 per week, for sending remittance via Western Union to Islami Bank from any country in the world, up to 31 May 2025. Additionally, 50,000 remittance beneficiaries will receive backpacks from branches, sub-branches and agent outlets during the campaign
