Israel strikes residential building in Gaza, kills 36
The Gaza Health Ministry said that at least 36 Palestinians have been killed after the Israeli forces bombed a residential area in the central Gaza Strip.
The overnight attack not far from the Nuseirat refugee camp injured many others. According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli attack on the Al-Rimal neighborhood in central Gaza City also destroyed a 7-story building housing displaced Palestinians.
The Israeli Defense Forces previously claimed responsibility for the deadly shooting at aid-seekers in northern Gaza.
In a statement on Telegram after the incident, the Gaza authorities said, "We hold the US administration, the international community and the Israeli forces fully responsible for the escalation of this crime and the massacre of homeless civilians."
According to the information of the Ministry of Health, the Palestinian armed organization Hamaas launched an unprecedented attack on the southern part of Israel on October 7. More than 1200 people were killed in this. 242 people were taken hostage. Since that day, more than 31,000 people have been killed in continuous Israeli air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Most of them are women and children. Apart from this, about 73 thousand people were injured.
