Jamuna Bank organizes School Banking Conference-2025 at Moulvibazar

The School Banking Conference-2025, aimed at promoting financial literacy among the youth, was successfully held in the Moulvibazar district under the guidance of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank. The event was hosted by Jamuna Bank PLC, with all scheduled banks operating in the district participating in the conference, demonstrating a strong collective commitment to advancing financial education.

The conference was presided over by Mr. Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, the Managing Director and CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC. Mr. Rup Ratan Pine, Executive Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, attended as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Mr. Md. Iqbal Mohsin, Director of the Financial Inclusion Department, and Mr. Fazlur Rahman, Education Officer of Moulvibazar District.

The event was further highlighted by the presence of senior officials from various scheduled banks in the region, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in driving the success of school banking initiatives.

To conclude the conference, a vibrant cultural program was held, along with an engaging quiz competition aimed at sparking students’ interest in banking and financial education.
