Test series is also held in the national game of Kabaddi. The last time a Kabaddi Test Series was held in Bangladesh was in 1974. The Kabaddi Test Series is starting again after 51 years next Saturday (February 22).

Bangladesh and Nepal will face each other in a five-match Test series to be organized by the Kabaddi Federation.

The Test series trophy was unveiled and a press conference was held at Paltan Maidan in the presence of the captains of both teams. The 16-member Bangladesh team was also announced with Mizanur Rahman as the captain at the press conference.

The five matches will be held at the Paltan ground on February 22, 23, 25, 26 and 28. Each match will start at 3:30pm.

Captain Mizanur Rahman believes that the quality of Bangladesh's players will increase further with this series. Nepal is a familiar opponent of Bangladesh. Nepal has played in all four international kabaddi tournaments held in Dhaka. But Nepal has never been able to defeat Bangladesh.

Mizanur Rahman said that they will maintain that consistency in this Test series as well. Bangladesh wants to whitewash Nepal by defeating them in all five matches.

Coach Badsha Mia said, “We started practicing on January 10. The preparation has been good. We have a good team with new and old players. I hope something good will happen. After playing five matches, we will have a lot of experience that will be useful to us later.”
