Khaleda Zia returns home
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia returned to her Gulshan residence on Tuesday night after receiving treatment for three days at a private hospital in the capital.
BNP chairperson's Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar confirmed the matter, said BNP Chairperson's media wing member Shamsuddin Didar.
Didar said: "Khaleda Zia returned home after some urgent physical tests as per the decision of the medical board."
Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Sunday night. This is the second time in a month that the former prime minister was admitted to the hospital.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Khaleda went to the hospital several times after being released on condition by the government's executive order on March 25, 2020. In the middle of last year, her physical condition deteriorated.
On October 26, her physical condition began to improve after being treated by three specialist doctors from the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States.
