Khaleda Zia's treatment to continue under 'one-stop service'
The medical board has decided to continue BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia's treatment under 'one-stop service' at London Clinic, her personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said.
"Madam's latest reports have been reviewed by the medical board led by Professor John Patrick Kennedy and it decided to undergo some more tests later," he told reporters in front of the hospital in London on Tuesday local time, reports BSS.
"Board members of Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA joined a meeting online. Then they decided to continue her treatment at one-stop service," he said
He said two more doctors from London will examine her health in the next couple of days.
Dr Zahid said medical board having some additional members will hold another meeting within next two-three days after getting few more medical test reports and then decide her next course of treatment.
He said Begum Zia's family members sought prayers from all for her recovery.
The 79-year-old former Prime Minister has been suffering from various physical ailments since long. She was admitted to London Clinic on January 8.
