Khilkhet-Kuril road to remain closed for 29hrs

The road from Khilkhet towards Kuril and Bashundhara Residential Area will remain closed for vehicular movement for approximately 29 hours due to utility relocation work under the Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit (MRT Line-1) project.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) authorities made the announcement in an official notice signed by Project Director Md Abul Kashem Bhuiyan on Thursday.

According to DMTCL, the road will remain closed from 7pm on Thursday, until 12am on Friday.

As an alternative, commuters are advised to use the U-turn in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel to access the Kuril Flyover or to opt for other available routes.
