Last day to sell advance train tickets today

Bangladesh Railway today has started selling advance tickets for the last day for the upcoming Eid journey by train. Those who buy advance tickets today will be able to travel on April 9.

Train tickets for the western region went on sale on Saturday (March 30) at 8:00am. Tickets for the Eastern Intercity Trains will be sold from 2:00pm onwards. This will end the advance sale of train tickets for the Eid journey.

Return ticket for Eid trip will be available from April 3 which will continue till April 9.

This year, 100% tickets for Eid for Eid journey are being sold in advance online. Passengers can purchase advance ticket for Eid journey and return journey for one time. A passenger can purchase a maximum of four tickets. This ticket is non-refundable. Apart from this, after the sale of all the seats of the inter-city train, standing tickets worth 25 percent of the total seats allocated in the general class will be sold from the counter.
