Maitri-Mitali-Bandhan Express to remain shut for 11 days

Bangladesh Railway has taken several initiatives to facilitate the journey smoothly on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

As part of this, three trains run between Bangladesh and India will remain suspended for 11 days from today to avert train schedule collapse.

According to BR, Mitali Express, Bandhan Express, Maitree Express runs will remain closed from April 7 to April 17. Only, Mithali Express (3132) train will leave Jalpaiguri on April 17. However, all inter-country trains will again run as per schedule from April 18.

Besides, all cargo trains will remain suspended too except the container and fuel oil trains till the Eid day.
