Mercantile Bank Training Institute recently organized a day-long workshop titled ‘Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism’. Officers from various branches and departments of the bank participated in it. Managing Director of Mercantile Bank Matiul Hasan inaugurated the training course. In addition, Deputy Managing Director of the bank Shamim Ahmed delivered the welcome speech at the event. In his address, Matiul Hasan instructed the trainees to follow the money laundering prevention guidelines properly. The faculties of the Training Institute conducted various sessions in the training. In addition to conducting the training, a session was conducted by Principal of the Training Institute Javed Tariq.
