'MP Anar's bones recovered from Bagjola canal in Kolkata'
A team of Kolkata detectives has recovered some bones from Bagjola canal in an operation conducted after the interrogation of Siam Hossain, one of the main accused in MP Anwarul Azim Anar murder.
According to Indian media outlet Anandabazar, acting on the information given by Siam, CID officials took him to Bagjola Canal and recovered the bones on Sunday morning (June 9).
However, the clarity of the identification of these bones as belonging to MP Anar will be clarified after a forensic examination.
Earlier, Siam was handed over to India after being captured in Nepal on Friday (June 7). On Saturday (June 8), the Barasat Court in Kolkata remanded him for 14 days.
Following this, on Sunday morning, the Kolkata Police initiated raids taking him in various locations across Kolkata.
