Muggers shoot 2 Nagad agents, snatch Tk60 lakh in Narsingdi

Muggers have looted Tk 60 lakh from two Nagad agents after shooting them in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi.

The agents are--Delwar Hossain, 50, son of Rashid Pathan, Shahin Mia, 25, son of late Amir Chan.

Shahid Mia, distributor of Nagad branch at Narsingdi, said unidentified muggers stoped their way and opened fire on them while they were going to Raipura branch from Narsingdi branch on Thursday morning.

Locals rescued the injured officials of Nagad and sent them to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital.

Raipura police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Safayet Hossain Palash said details will be disclosed after investigation.
