Nahida Akter named in ICC team of the year 2023

Bangladesh spinner Nahida Akter was named in the ICC team of the year 2023 for her exceptional performance throughout the year.

The team was dominated by Australian cricketers as five players were included in the lists, with Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu named as the captain.

The left-arm spinner, Nahida, took 20 wickets in the year in ODIs, being the second-highest wicket-taker in women’s ODIs in 2023.
