Nazrul University and Mawlana Bhashani University ink MoU spanning 18 areas

Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, situated in Trishal, Mymensingh, and Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, located in Tangail, have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering 18 areas, including education, research, and development.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Saturday (June 8) at the liaison office in Dhaka. Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Registrar of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, and Dr. Md. Touhidul Islam, Registrar of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective universities.

Soumitra Sekhar, Vice-Chancellor of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University; Dr. Md. Forhad Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology; Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ARM Solaiman; Treasurer Professor Dr. Sirajul Islam; Proctor Professor Dr. Mir Md. Mozammel Haque; Nazrul Islam, Additional Director (Finance and Accounts) of Nazrul University; Radheshyam, serving as the APA Focal Point and Additional Director (Audit), and others were present.

Soumitra Sekhar said, "Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University has initiated its journey at the forefront of education, research, and development."

He said, "The collaborative efforts among several universities in education and research, with the goal of fostering a developed and intelligent Bangladesh, will enhance our capabilities. This is why the Memorandum of Understanding with Mawlana Bhashani University holds great significance." He stressed the importance not only of signing the agreement but also of ensuring its effective implementation.
