The price of gold has increased again in the country's market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has fixed the new price by increasing the maximum price per bhori by Tk1,575. As a result of increasing the price, the price of good quality i.e. 22 carat gold will be Tk 1,43,526, which today was Tk 1,41,951. This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Tuesday (October 30). According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new gold price will be effective from Thursday (October 31).

দেশের বাজারে ফের বেড়েছে সোনার দাম। ভরিতে সর্বোচ্চ ১ হাজার ৫৭৫ টাকা বাড়িয়ে নতুন মূল্য নির্ধারণ করেছে বাংলাদেশ জুয়েলার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (বাজুস)। দাম বাড়ানোর ফলে ভালো মানের অর্থাৎ ২২ ক্যারেটের এক ভরি সোনার দাম হবে এক লাখ ৪৩ হাজার ৫২৬ টাকা। যা আজকে ছিল এক লাখ ৪১ হাজার ৯৫১ টাকা। মঙ্গলবার (৩০ অক্টোবর) বাজুসের মূল্য নির্ধারণ ও মূল্য পর্যবেক্ষণ স্থায়ী কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান মাসুদুর রহমানের সই করা এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। বাজুস জানায়, স্থানীয় বাজারে তেজাবী সোনার দাম বেড়েছে। সার্বিক পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় সোনার নতুন দাম নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (৩১ অক্টোবর) থেকে সোনার নতুন দাম কার্যকর হবে।
