No bombs found in Biman’s Rome flight: HSIA authorities

A full search was conducted on a Bangladesh Airlines flight traveling from Rome, Italy to Dhaka after a bomb threat was received. However, no bomb or bomb-like objects were found.

This information was provided by sources at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 12:30 PM on Wednesday, January 22.

According to the sources, after thoroughly searching the entire plane, no bomb or bomb-like items were found. All the passengers' luggage was checked, but no explosives or anything suspicious were discovered. The passengers' luggage will be returned shortly.

The Executive Director of the airport, Group Captain Kamrul Islam, confirmed that the search is nearly complete. Further details regarding the threat and the search will be shared with the media.
