There was a sense of quiet tension across the capital today due to the conference of the Chhatra Shibir and the rally of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. Most people, except for office-goers and those with urgent tasks, stayed home. As a result, the capital saw no traffic jams from the morning.

In areas like Uttara, Mirpur 10, Agargaon, Farmgate, Banglamotor, and Gulistan, there were noticeably fewer private vehicles, and public transportation was significantly reduced compared to normal.

A bus driver in the capital mentioned that only a few buses were operating to accommodate passengers. Meanwhile, a staff member from a private company, Sanjida, said, "There are far fewer cars on the streets in the capital compared to other days. The expected inconvenience due to today's conference and rally is completely absent."
