Number of shows for 'Dagi' increases, 'Barbad' decreases in Star Cineplex

Six movies are being screened in theaters across the country on the occasion of Eid—'Barbad', 'Dagi', 'Jungli', 'Jeen-3', 'Chakkar' and 'Antaratma'. The audience is showing huge excitement about the movies. Most of the movies are facing intense competition. In the meantime, there have been some changes in the number of shows of the movies at Star Cineplex.

According to Star Cineplex sources, in the first four days of Eid, Shakib Khan's 'Barbad' movie had 34 shows, which has been reduced to 26 from the fifth day. On the other hand, during the same period, 'Dagi' movie had 21 shows, which has increased to 24 from the fifth day.

Star Cineplex Senior Marketing Officer Mezbah Ahmed said, “Almost all Eid movies are doing well. The issue of increasing or decreasing the number of show depends on the demand of the audience. If the audience is high, the show increases, if it is low, the show decreases. Our website has all the information related to the show.”

Shahriar Shakil, producer of the movie ‘Dagi’, told the media, “We are getting good response from the audience from the first day. ‘Dagi' was housefull in all branches of Star Cineplex till the fourth day. That is why I am claiming the movie as a superhit. However, ‘Barbad’ and ‘Jungli’ are also doing well. I want the audience to watch all the movies.”

It remains to be seen how the box office of the movies performs even after the Eid holidays.
