Oman to partially open visas for Bangladeshis

The government of Oman has announced to issue visas to Bangladeshi nationals in 12 categories, reports Times of Oman.

Quoting Sirajul Haque, chairman of Bangladesh Social Club Oman, the report said categories include family visas, visit visas for Bangladeshi nationals living in Gulf Cooperation Council countries, doctors' visas, engineers' visas, nurses' visas, teachers' visas, accountants' visas, investors' visas, and all types of official visas.

However, the report does not shared any detailed information in this regard.

Bangladeshi people’s visit in the country dropped by over 50 percent since Oman banned the issuance of visas for them on October 31, 2023, says the report published on Wednesday.
