Pakistani band 'Kaavish' to perform in Dhaka

Pakistani band Kaavish, renowned for their soulful tracks like "Bachpan" and "Tere Pyar Mein," is set to perform in Dhaka.

A two-day concert titled 'Dhaka Dreams' will be held in the capital's Army Stadium. This will be Kaavish's maiden concert in Dhaka.

The organizer, Blue Brick Communications, recently announced this information in a press release.

The release said that domestic bands Shunya and Level Five will perform with Kavish on the first day. And on the second day, Arnab, Sunidhi Nayek, Armin Musa and Ghasfaring Choir will perform.

Tickets for the concert are available on the online platform ticketbhai.com. The ticket price has been set at Tk4000. The audience will have to buy a total of two tickets for the two-day concert. The entrance gate of the concert will open for the audience at 3 pm.

Formed in 1998 by Jaffer Zaidi and Maaz Maudood, Kaavish is celebrated for their unique semi-classical sound that resonates with audiences across generations. Kaavish's first music album Gunkali was released in 2009. The Gunkali album contains ten songs; among which Bachpan, Tere Pyaar Mein are known to almost all the listeners.

Some other songs of this band are Nindiya Re, Sun Zara, More Saiya, Fasle etc. Among them, the song Nindiya Re, Fasle still holds a special place in the minds of the listeners.
