Palak asks Teletalk to launch special cost-effective internet packs
State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has asked the government mobile operator, Teletalk, to launch a special cost-effective package for internet customers on the occasion of historic March 7.
He gave the instructions during a view exchange meeting with the officials after visiting the Teletalk headquarters in Gulshan on Monday.
At this time, there was also a discussion about the progress of the plan and implementation of Teletalk's customer service improvement.
The State Minister said: "On the occasion of the historic March 7, a special cost-effective package of mobile internet should be introduced by Teletalk. And measures should be taken to launch that package from March 7."
During the meeting, the state minister wanted to know about the progress of Teletalk's network expansion through tower sharing with other mobile operators and what steps have been taken to increase the performance of Teletalk's 5,600 towers at present.
Later, the Managing Director of Teletalk, Habibur Rahman, gave detailed information about this through the presentation.
Officials from various levels of Teletalk were present in the meeting.
