Path shown by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is our only path: Quader

The path shown by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is our only path. He gave us freedom. He is not with us today, but he is always our source of inspiration. He will guide us in every crisis.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this while talking to reporters after paying homage to Bangabandhu's portrait at Dhanmondi-32 on Sunday (March 17) morning.

Obaidul Quader said, “A brave mother of Tungipara gave birth to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to bring us the long desired freedom. He freed the Bengali nation from the shackles of subjugation and created Bangladesh as an independent nation.”

The Awami League General Secretary said, “The birth of Bangabandhu means the birth of Bangladesh's independence. It is doubtful whether the independence of Bangladesh would have been a reality if a leader like Bangabandhu had not been born in this locality.”

He also said, “The legacy that Bangabandhu left behind with independence, even if he is not alive, will never die. His legacy will live on for good. This legacy will continue forever. Today we take an oath that we will continue to fight under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.”
