PM to visit Cyclone Remal-hit areas

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit the regions affected by Cyclone Remal. He made the announcement at a press conference in capital's Dhanmondi on Monday.

At this time, Quader instructed party leaders, workers, and public representatives to support the people affected by the cyclone.

He criticized the BNP, stating that they are merely conducting photo sessions in the name of cooperation without providing actual assistance to the people affected by the disaster.

Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Organizing Secretary BM Muzammel Haque, Mirza Azam, SM Kamal Hossain, Sujit Roy Nandi, Relief and Social Welfare Affairs Secretary Aminul Islam, Deputy Secretary Sayem Khan and others were present in the press conference.
