PM's new press secretary pays homage to Bangabandhu's portrait
The newly appointed press secretary of the prime minister Md Nayeemul Islam Khan has paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday (June 8) morning.
He paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait in front of house number 32 in Dhanmondi.
After paying tribute, Khan said, “I will try to help Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with my knowledge, intelligence and hard work. I will try to convey the way the Prime Minister is working for the overall welfare and development of the people of Bangladesh to the media and the common people in the country.”
PM's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon and PM’s Assistant Press Secretary ABM Sarwar-e-Alam Sarkar were present at that time.
Earlier on Thursday (June 6), Nayeemul Islam Khan was announced as the new press secretary of the PM through a notification issued by the Public Administration Ministry.
