Price of gold decreases to Tk1,14,191 per bhori

The price of gold in the domestic market has reduced further. The price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold has been reduced by Tk 2,099 to Tk 1,14,151 per bhori.

This price has been reduced after a decrease in the price of acid gold (seasoned gold) in the local market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that the new price will be effective from 4:50pm on Wednesday (April 24).

Earlier on Tuesday, the price of one bhori of good quality gold was reduced by Tk 3,138 and fixed to Tk 1,16,290. Now by reducing the price again, the price of good quality gold has reduced by Tk 5,277 in two days.
