Primary teachers get online transfer opportunity again

Assistant and head teachers of government primary schools are again going to get the opportunity to apply for transfer online.

Those interested can apply for transfer within the same upazila. The applications can be submitted from April 22 to April 24, according to a Directorate of Primary Education notification issued on Saturday (April 20).

According to the notification, teachers can apply online from April 22 to April 24. The head teacher will verify the applications on April 25. The Assistant Upazila Education Officer will verify the applications on April 26-27. Verification of upazila education office will be completed between April 28 and April 30.
Verification and approval of assistant teachers and verification and promotion of head teachers will be completed by District Primary Education Officer on May 1-2. The Divisional Deputy Director will verify and approve the applications from May 3-5.

The notification also states that there is no guarantee of transfer according to the applicant's preference. In case of multiple applicants, eligible applicants will be selected through automatic management of the software.

The Directorate of Primary Education has also given some conditions in the case of transfer.
Interested teachers will choose a maximum of three schools in order of preference. However, if a teacher does not have multiple choices, they can choose only one or two schools.
