Publication ceremony of autobiography of sportsperson Ranjit Das held

The publication ceremony of autobiography ‘Kriranganer Phele Asa Dingulo’ of sportsperson Ranjit Das, a once-bright star of sports and winner of the National Sports Award, has been held.

The program was held at the author’s residence, Kamalakanta Bhaban at Karerpara of Sylhet at 4 pm on Friday (April 18).

Sports organizer Md. Yusuf Ali presided over the program. Dulal Mahmud, editor of the fortnightly ‘Krirajogat’ magazine, delivered the welcome speech.

Former player Elham Sultan, Azad Sporting Club General Secretary SM Mannan, former player Prabir Ranjan Das Bhanu, sports organizer Nishendu Dev Naku, Ratan Majumder, Divisional Cricket Umpire Association President Ashraf Arman, social activist Farida Nasrin, Sylhet District Football Players Welfare Association President Rubel Ahmed Nannu, prominent folklorist and writer Mostaq Ahmad Deen, writer Zaman Mahbub, poet AK Sheram, Ranjit Das' wife Rekha Das, children Rima Das, Rupa Das, Rajib Das, son-in-law Nirmal Kanti Talukder and Kajalkanti Das, among others spoke.

The program was presented by Mostaq Ahmed, General Secretary of Sammilit Natya Parishad Sylhet.
