Rain likely in 4 divisions including Dhaka

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over the four divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours beginning from 9.00am today.

Meteorologist Md Shahinul Islam said, "Trough of westerly low lies over the West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts, "Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country."

From Saturday morning to Sunday (March 17) morning, there may be rain and thundershowers with temporary gusty winds at two or more places in Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
