Rashed Khan, the General Secretary of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, has commented that the reform of the Advisory Council has become essential before the country's reform.

On Saturday (April 5), Rashed Khan made this comment during a discussion with journalists at a restaurant in Jhenaidah city.

Rashed Khan said, "Within the current Advisory Council, allies of the Awami League are lurking. Some of the advisers are providing shelter to Awami League leaders and activists who are identified as mass killer. Therefore, the reform of the Advisory Council has become essential before the reform of the country."

Demanding the banning of the Awami League's politics, this leader of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, Rashed Khan, said, "Suddenly, the call for an inclusive election is coming from various quarters. They never mentioned the need for an inclusive election in the past 17 years. With foreign backing, they are covertly trying to bring mass killer Hasina and the Awami League into the election. However, the political parties that led the July 24th revolution will not allow that opportunity."

Rashed Khan, raising allegations of shelter being provided to Awami League allies, said, "The dummy MPs of the Awami League are now spending money in various places to gain shelter. Many leaders talk big on stage, but secretly, they are taking money from the dummy MPs of the Awami League and engaging in grassroots politics. Those who are providing shelter and support to the dummy MPs and Awami League allies will not be spared."
