Road crashes 8 dead eidgoers in Mymensingh

Separate road accidents have claimed the lives of at least eight holidaymakers, including three members of a family.

The accidents occurred in Sadar, Trishal, and Tarakanda upazilas on Tuesday afternoon.

Kotwali Model Police Station OC Anwar Hossain said three members of a family were killed and seven others were injured in a road accident in Langrabazar area of the Sadar upazila.

The deceased are-Lutfor Rahman, 30, his wife Sahanaz, 25,his son, Mahit, 2. Another son, Mojahid, 6, was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Besides, four others were killed in Trishal and one in Tarakanda upazilas.
