Romantic comedy web film 'How Sweet' to hit Bongo

Romantic comedy web film 'How Sweet' directed by Kajal Arefin Ome was supposed to be released on the OTT platform Banga on Valentine's Day, but due to some reasons, it was postponed.

The producer recently told the media that this web film will be released on Eid-ul-Fitr.

Ome said that he could not release it due to incomplete color work in post-production and visa complications. However, he expressed hope that this film will be more popular to the audience if it is released on Eid. Asa romantic and comedy story film, it will win the hearts of the audience on Eid, hopes Ome.

'How Sweet' was shot in various locations in Barisal and Dhaka. Ome said: "Just as you feel sweet when you eat chomchom, the audience will get that sweet feeling when watching this story." He further said: "No one else came to mind for this kind of work except Apurba Bhai. My understanding with Farin is very good, he can do both romantic and serious roles well. That is why Apurba Bhai and Farin have been taken for this work. I am waiting to present it to the audience."

Ome has reduced the production of dramas and is currently working more on OTT content. In Bongo, he has received praise for producing Hotel Relax and Asoomi content in a row. In various interviews, he has said that he is preparing himself by making web content as a preparation for producing films in the future.
