About the Epic Series Dehobati:
For 36 years at a stretch, poet Russell Ashequi has lived in the world of poetry. He has read his poems aloud to an audience of 10 to 20 lakh mesmerized listeners. His lifetime has been dedicated to a single poem that has gradually transformed into an epic. This epic delves into natural, spiritual, and cosmic surrealism, using a new language of words, metaphors, alliterations, and metaphysics. It presents a mine of string waves and an awakening of an inner planet named 'human,' transitioning from a linguistic landscape of the inner language to the realm of inner art. Here, the floating islands of humanity, the human marketplace, and the figure of Bangabandhu appear in new forms and dimensions. Along with them, in the poet's heart wisdom, come remarkable cosmic characters like Ganit Shah, Prince Noor, Manavika, Pragyawati, Prem Kumari, Bishwakantha, Bangasundari, and Bhuvansundari. These new characters represent the new humans of this world and this land, shaped by the earth, water, light, air, and sun. Each of them is a new craftsman of creating a simple life and a peaceful world through mutual love, harmony, unity, honesty, and courage, while overcoming the illusionary powers, training in the subjugation of shape-shifting devils, and ultimately through transformation and change.

The author reveals that while the epic is complete, the main title has not yet been disclosed. For the benefit of the readers, the epic is being published in series, each under a different name. Dehobati is the fifth series of the epic, a 16-chapter poetry book. At the beginning of this series, the poet, through the teachings of his father, realized the new form and power of the epic and created a new poetry, one that speaks in different words. The collection as a whole forms this epic. Each series and each chapter of this epic, with its poems, is created in the atmosphere of light, sound, and music, incorporating new philosophy, science, and spiritual reflections — it is a new epic of the world, written in the Bengali language. The essence of the work is that, as soon as the Dehobati light breaks through the world’s deep darkness, a new epic’s auspicious journey begins worldwide.

The formula of this epic is:
Light + Sound + Music = Poem
Science + Philosophy + Spirituality = Poetry
