Russia wants to buy potatoes from Bangladesh: Russian Ambassador

Russia is interested in buying a wide range of products including potatoes from Bangladesh. At the same time, Bangladesh wants to import LNG from Russia.

Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Mantytskiy revealed the information to the media emerging out of a meeting with Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader at the latter’s Secretariat office in Dhaka on Monday (February 12).

He expressed hope that Bangladesh's economic relations with Russia will strengthen further in the future through investment in different sectors including infrastructure development and communication system.

After the meeting, Obaidul Quader said that Russia has expressed interest to work on Bangladesh's infrastructural development. They have requested to make Bangladeshi products exported to Russia more easily available.
