Saad sent to jail over killing his mother in Bogura

Saad Bin Aziz, who was arrested in connection with the murder of his mother Umme Salma and allegedly storing her body in a deep freezer, has been sent to jail after a three-day remand.

Bogura Chief Judicial Magistrate Mehedi Hasan passed the order on Saturday (November 16) afternoon after Dupchanchia police produced him before the Court.

After the hearing, the senior Magistrate sent him to the jail as none filed bail plea on Saad's behalf.

Police Inspector Mosaddek Hossain of the Bogura court confirmed.

Meanwhile, the case involving the murder of housewife Umme Salma and the storage of her body in a deep freezer has taken a new turn. It has been revealed that the person responsible for the murder in Dupchanchia, Bogura, was not the victim's son, but rather the house's tenant.

On Friday, Dupchanchia police reported that based on the theft of a mobile phone and Wi-Fi router from the house during the murder, the house's tenant, Mabia Akter, was arrested in connection with the crime.
