The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) has ordered to settle the Tk 666 crore tax evasion case, filed against Dr Yunus of Grameen Kalyan, at the High Court (HC). The court on Monday (March 11) asked the concerned bench of the HC to settle the case within three months. A 5-member Appellate Division bench led by Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan passed the order.

ড. ইউনূসের গ্রামীণ কল্যাণের ৬৬৬ কোটি টাকার কর ফাঁকির মামলা হাইকোর্টে নিষ্পত্তি করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগ। তিন মাসের মধ্যে সংশ্লিষ্ট বেঞ্চে নিষ্পত্তি করতে বলেছেন আদালত। সোমবার (১১ মার্চ) প্রধান বিচারপতি ওবায়দুল হাসানের নেতৃত্বাধীন ৫ বিচারপতির আপিল বিভাগের বেঞ্চ এ আদেশ দেন।
