Secretariat catches fire, 18 units of fire fighters working

A fire has broken out at the Bangladesh Secretariat.

Fire Service controlroom officer Rafi Al Faruk confirmed the news.

He said the fire originated at 1:52am at building no-7 of the Secretariat.

Being informed, 18 units of fire fighters rushed there and are working to douse the blaze, said the official.

The reason behind the fire couldn’t be known immediately.
