Seven new state ministers take their oath

Seven new faces on Friday took the oath as the member of the incumbent cabinet. With the new seven members, the cabinet members will have 44 members.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath of office and oath of secrecy to the new state ministers at Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban at 7. 30pm.

New members of the cabinet are-Shahiduzzaman Sarker from Naogaon-1, Abdul Wadud Dara from Rajshahi-5, Nazrul Islam Chowdhury from Chattogram-14.

Besides four other MPs are from the reserved seat for women. They are – Rokeya Sultana, Begum Shamsun Naher, Waseqa Ayesha Khan and Naheed Ezaher Khan.
